Poker affiliating is when you work with poker rooms sending them players to earn money.
Affiliates can earn money from the players they send who deposit at the poker room they are promoting. Poker rooms will give affiliates tracking devices such as links and bonus codes that will track the players the affiliate sends them.
Poker affiliates will generally have the option to choose between a CPA or MGR deal - A CPA deal is a set amount of money for each real money player (RMP) the affiliate has sent. A MGR deal is a percent of the players rake that the affiliate will earn for life.
Starting Poker affiliates will generally earn between $75-$125 per depositing player on a CPA deal and anywhere from 20-35% of the players rake for lifetime on the MGR deal.
Poker affiliating is normally done online through websites, but some poker rooms have ways for affiliates to do offline advertising. It is free to join every affiliate program with the only startup costs being small website fees. Although serious poker affiliates will invest money into their websites to turn a better profit.
Poker Affiliate World (PAW) is a GREAT resource for new and old Poker Affiliates. PAW is affiliated with plenty of poker rooms and allows affiliates to sign up for affiliate programs through them.
